Clan Haggis is a singing group which performs Sea Chanties from the Celtic, Scottish, and Irish folk archives. Based out of the Metro Richmond / Petersburg area, the men of Clan Haggis sing period nautical work songs and other tunes you might hear aboard tall sailing ships of the 17th, 18th & early 19th centuries. Enhance your event with a performance by historically-costumed singing sailors (British & Colonial American) or mischievous pirates of the British Isles.Always entertaining and educational, Clan Haggis has performed at numerous cultural events & private parties all over central Virginia & the Eastern Shore. Our Bagpiper, Jeff McHaggis, plays an extensive repertoire of traditional Celtic tunes, at your request. The Clan is also available for pub performances!
