CLAN HAGGIS

Singing Sea Shanties, Celtic Tunes,
and playing Bagpipes
to Central Virginia

Clan Haggis is a singing group which performs Sea Chanties from the Celtic, Scottish, and Irish folk archives. Based out of the Petersburg area, the men of Clan Haggis sing period nautical work songs and other tunes you might hear aboard tall sailing ships of the 17th, 18th & early 19th centuries. Enhance your event with a performance by historically-costumed singing sailors (British &/or Colonial American) or mischievous pirates of the British Isles.

Always entertaining and educational, Clan Haggis has performed at numerous cultural events & private parties all over central Virginia & the Eastern Shore. Our Bagpiper, Jeff McHaggis, plays an extensive repertoire of traditional Celtic tunes, at your request. The Clan is also available for pub performances!
