CLAN HAGGIS

Singing Sea Shanties, Celtic Tunes,
and playing Bagpipes
to Central Virginia

We mourn the passing of
Larry "O'Haggis" Lamm
1939-2006

We leave his own words here to tell his story...

I am a historical reenactor . . .

  • Middle ages
  • Renaissance
  • English Civil War
  • French & Indian War
  • American Revolution
  • American Civil War
  • World War I
    I also love to sing Sea Shanties. My small company, Gourdon & Elley Co., sells Linens & Wools to fellow reenactors, also hat blanks & patterns. We stock most period colors from 1700 to 1865.

    Email me at one of my alter-egos - henryelley or call [804]966-1300 (home) or [757]570-3486 (cell). I enjoy Jamestown & The English Civil war, but I especially like to reenact French & Indian war & the American Revolution. All of these time periods allow me to sing period songs.
    I attend Colonial dances like the one in Williamsburg every Tuesday 8:00pm at 710 S. Henry St. Chownings Tavern is also great to drop by in my period clothes {saves me the $3.00 cover charge}
